*Important Notice* About Registering Your Alarm System in Suffolk County
Dear Radiotech Customers:
The Suffolk County Police instituted an Alarm Management Program in an effort to "reduce false alarms." This Program requires all residents and businesses in Suffolk County to register their alarm systems.
The permit registration fee is $50.00 for residential and $100.00 for commercial tax payers in Suffolk County. Unregistered alarm systems will be charged a service charge for any initial false alarm. Once registered, you will receive 2 free false alarms, but will be assessed fines for each subsequent offense. The permit will have to be renewed each year.
Register your alarm system by going to www.SuffolkPD.org , and navigating to the Alarm Management area of the site. One can also register your alarm system by mail, by picking up the Alarm Permit application at your local police precinct, and mailing the fee and application to:
